Join us for the Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast this Sunday.
3rd grade has been busy since returning from break! They collected data through a survey with their classmates. They took the data to create a bar graph and answer questions about their data.
Girls' basketball practice begins tomorrow. If your child signed up to play, check your email for information.
We're headed back to school tomorrow! Are you ready?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Our Lady of Grace would like to thank you for your continued support of our small but mighty school. May success, happiness, and prosperity be yours in the new year!
During the Feast of The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, "let the peace of Christ control your hearts; let the word of Christ dwell in you richly." (Col 3:15a, 16a)
We hope all of our students are enjoying this school break and getting as much rest as one of our preschoolers did during the afternoon performance of our Christmas program.
Today is the Feast of the Holy Innocents. "O Lord Jesus Christ, once you embraced and placed your hands upon the little children who came to you, and you said, “Let the little children come unto me, and forbid them not, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven, and their Angels always see the face of my Father!” Look now with Fatherly eyes on the innocence of these children, and the faith of their parents, and bless them this day."
At Our Lady of Grace, we have a long-standing tradition of pairing our oldest students with Kindergarten "buddies." Throughout the year, they do many things together, including their own Christmas party.
Did you know the Twelve Days of Christmas actually begin on Christmas Day and conclude on the Epiphany? Christmas Day doesn't mark the end of Christmastime, it is the start of our rejoicing in a long celebration of the birth of Christ!
Our Kindergarteners enjoyed a birthday party for Jesus before our school break began. Happy Birthday Jesus!
“My prayer for you is that when Christ comes to you in Christmas, He may find in you a warm home, warm love like that of a heartful of love, like that of a simple shepherd who was the first one chosen to see Christ.” - St. Teresa of Calcutta
"Christmas reveals the immense love of God for humanity. From that flows also the enthusiasm, the hope of us Christians, that in our poverty we know that we are loved, we are visited, accompanied by God." - Pope Francis
When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels.
Jesus paved the way for us to meet His Father. He brings hope to our lives. During this time of celebration, let us remember that He came to earth to die willingly for our sins.
With the temperatures dropping soon, make sure you have your Christmas To-Do list done.
During this final week of Advent, may we find time in our busy lives to meditate on the peace that Jesus brings our hearts and our world.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas program last night. If you missed it, you may watch it at https://youtu.be/X_tQRmfqyR8
Fourth grade was busy today creating a surprise for us. Check back after Christmas break when they unveil it.
