Students in 4-6 grade competed at Alleman in the CONTIG tournament with Jordan and Seton. Addy represented our school well by placing 3rd overall. Some of our students even ended up competing against their own classmates! Round of applause for our bright young mathematicians!
HELP US RAISE MONEY FOR A NEW PLAYGROUND! OLGCA is teaming up with local restaurants to help raise money for a new school playground! All proceeds from our school night at Culvers (Silvis) on February 28th will go towards a new playset for our Grace students!
Love is in the air at Grace! Kindergarten & their buddies exchanged valentines this morning, and 1st-grade is ready for their party this afternoon. The tradition continues in 3rd & 4th-grade as they display their homemade valentine's boxes in their hallway.
Congratulations to our 3rd/4th-grade teacher, Mikyla James!! She was one of the teachers who was awarded January Teacher of the Month by the RIROE. We are blessed to have her here at Grace teaching our students.
On Tuesday, February 14th, we will have a $1 Wear What You Want Dress Down Day. Any student bringing in a $1 can wear what they want.
Our 1st-grade student of the week for February 13 is Maximo. He likes to play with his brothers, ride his bike, and do homework. When he grows up he wants to be a scientist!
