Chloe is our 1st-grade student of the week for March 27th. She likes to play, eat pizza, and do kind things for others. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher!
7th graders are learning how to solve equations of inequality. Each pair was given a pair of dice & a set of operations. They had to create & solve their own equations of inequality. They explained their process & the inequality fact they learned.
Looking for a book to read? 2nd Grade has the full report! Students selected 1 of their favorite books to share & review for their book report project. We focused on features (title, author, setting, characters, and events). We wrapped the project up by sharing them in class.

3rd graders have completed their planet projects. They are out of this world!
3rd & 4th graders worked together to create roller coasters/“water” slides for a speed test. Each group was able to use 4 sheets of card stock, 25 popsicle sticks, 3 paper towel tubes, 8 toilet paper rolls, one water bottle, tape, & glue sticks. They were not allowed to use any classroom furniture to support their structure except as the starting point. They dropped a marble down 3 times. They recorded and compared their times. Our 1st-grade student of the week for March 20 is Wyatt. He likes electronics, playing piano, and his toys. When he grows up, he wants to be a piano teacher.
