Grace Families,
We wanted to say thank you again to Mr. Keeven from St. Anne’s parish, who won our $10,000 raffle at the Grace Gala, and who donated that money back to the school! What a WONDERFUL and charitable gift we have been given. We are using that money for improvements to our school that will drive enrollment. THANK YOU!
SEEKING ADULT VOLUNTEERS FOR FIELD DAY
Coach Walker has been VERY hard at work creating a fantastic Field Day experience for us, scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th.
We are looking for 10-12 adult volunteers to help run stations and circulate with the student groups. Please email your child’s teacher if you are interested and available to help, even for a half-day. We will provide all the supplies and directions, we just need more hands to help make this a huge success. Thank you in advance!
Illness
In addition to the allergies which have been astronomical this year, there are a lot of upper respiratory viruses AND strep/stomach issues that have been going around. With the number of staff getting sick and the lack of available substitutes, there have been several days this year when we were ONE staff member away from having to close for the day, INCLUDING THIS WEEK.
Please remember that a student needs to be 24 hours symptom free without the use of medicines (other than antibiotics) before they can return to school, especially in the cases of fever or vomiting. This will help slow the spread of the germs, and keep our students and staff healthy and in school for the remainder of the year. This also means If your child goes home for the day due to illness, they cannot return to school the next day.
Tuition/Registration
A friendly reminder that our registration fee goes up again a final time on June 1st, 2023.
Financial Aid/Scholarships We are hoping to have round one of financial aid done well in advance of June 1st, so families can accurately know that for which they are applying. We are currently waiting for scholarships to arrive from the diocese, and once Kremer and Lancaster Scholarships are distributed, we will do round 2 of financial aid.
ONLY families who have applied for ALL external scholarships for which they are eligible (including Empower, Kremer and Spalding as applicable) by April 28th will be considered for “in house” financial assistance. You will also need to be current on your tuition for this year no later than June 1st, 2023 to keep financial aid that you are awarded.
